What broke
A role profile named the wrong harness in the architect seat. The session that fixed it read the repository’s own history (one commit naming a cloud session, a later one naming another) and chose the more recent. It published a profile naming a seat that had stopped existing that morning: the seat’s charter, the living source, said in its first line where the seat now ran, and nobody had opened it. The false profile was on the public site for a day, in two languages.
The rule it paid for
A fact about a seat is read from the seat’s charter, never from the history of the document that describes it. History says what was believed; the charter says what is. The role profiles are rewritten from the charter each time a seat changes, and the change is dated in the register.
